Experience the sunrise from the top of Mt. Washington!

Three Sunrise Drives:
June 27
July 25
August 29

The Mt. Washington Auto Road will open early on three Sundays in 2010, on June 27, July 25 and  August 29, allowing guests to drive themselves to the summit of Mt. Washington to view the sunrise from the highest peak in the Northeast. On June 27, the Auto Road will open at 3:30 AM, on July 25 at 4:00 am and at 4:30 AM on August 29, which will allow guests to arrive early enough to watch the sun come up over the Atlantic Ocean. Regular Drive Yourself rates and Vehicle Restrictions apply. From the success of last year’s events the Mt. Washington Auto Road recommends not waiting until the last minute to arrive as you may spend a few additional minutes at the Toll House due to traffic.
