
From private car clubs to school groups, the Mt. Washington Auto Road can provide a customized guided tour that is certain to create lifelong memories. With over 150 years of history, the Mt. Washington Auto Road is America’s oldest manmade attraction, and every day of the season you can practically touch that history in the Douglas A. Philbrook Red Barn Museum, which features many of the vehicles that have climbed to the summit through the years.
The Mt. Washington Auto Road also offers the best way to experience the home of the world’s worst weather up close and personal. Learn about weather, geology and the unique birds and animals that live on and around the mountain. Mt. Washington is a special place, and we welcome your group to enjoy it with us.
Tours Options at the Mt. Washington Auto Road
Evening and Dawn Tours
Guided Stage Tour: 2 hour guided tour in our stages/vans, one hour on summit. Departure time based on sunset and sunrise.
$45.00 adults $20.00 juniors (5-12) plus 10% service charge | Min/Max pp: 8/72 or $360.00 minimum | 20% deposit required
Drive Yourself Tour: Drive yourself in your own vehicles escorted by two of our stage/vans. Departure time based on sunset and sunrise.
$25.00 adults $12.50 juniors (5-12) plus 10% service charge | Min: 30 people or $750.00

Morning Tours
Guided Stage Tour: A two hour tour with 1 hour on the summit.
$30.00 adults $10.00 juniors (5-12) | Min/Max pp: 25/45 | $50 deposit required | Groups must be here before 9:30 AM.
ATV Groups
Daytime Tour: $26.00 operator $8.00 passenger | Min: 35 riders
Evening Tour: $35.00 per person | Min:30 riders
No individual ATVs, must be part of group | Advanced reservations required | NH or VT registration required | Licensed operator
One person per ATV unless it has a factory installed second seat.
