There’s A Black Fly In MY Eye 10-Mile Trail Run & Relay
A field of 85 runners took the start at Great Glen Outdoor Center for its annual trail running race on both single-track and carriage roads at the base of Mount Washington. The black flies were in attendance as well, adding some extra motivation for the runners. The course consisted of three distinct loops within the Great Glen trail system, all starting and finishing at the base lodge, with the final loop including a stream crossing along the Peabody River. Racers had the option of tackling the entire course solo, or running as a team of 2 or 3. Congratulations go out to all the runners, and a thanks to them for making this one of the best trail races in New England.
