It was a celebration of Americana at the Mt. Washington Auto Road. With a day full of old time fun that harkens back to a simpler time.
Old time games included, Hopscotch, Jump Rope, Marbles, Jacks, Tiddlywinks, Badminton, Croquet and Graces.
We also had old-fashioned races and contests: Stick & Hoop, Sack, Three-Legged and Wheelbarrow Races; a Pie-eating Race, a Pie-tasting contest, and a Watermelon seed-spitting contest.
Tethered hot air balloon rides and horse-drawn wagon rides will be available for a fee. And no carnival would be complete without a dunk tank!
The Glen View Cafe had hamburgers and hotdogs, in addition to the other vendors who sold fresh hot pretzels, kettle corn, snow cones and cotton candy.
